Looking for excuses to wear it
I LOVE this shirt.
I love this shirt because once it's ironed well it is hard to wrinkle. So if I neglect to hang it up after my evening shower and find it crumpled on the dresser the next morning when I was hoping to wear it but it probably looks terrible because I should have learned to hang up my clothes like my mother taught me---it's not wrinkled and it looks great and I put it back on to wear it for another fabulous day.
I also love the cut of this shirt. With slim pants, the shape of this shirt is so flattering on me. My body type (Kibbe's "soft gamine") looks best with clothes well-fitted at the neck and shoulders, not slouchy or baggy clothes. This looks so good! The length in the back, the slit up the sides, the classic neck, the small interest on the sleeves---I love it.
The fabric of this shirt is also so good. It lays well. It's not stiff, but it's not wimpy. It looks classy and polished--exactly what I want. I want more colors just so I can buy more and officially just turn this into my work uniform.
And Brass: THANK YOU for making this top in XXS! Please feel free to make more tops in that size. I'm eager to buy them! ---Sincerely, a petite woman of average height.
