I love this dress--the color, cut, fit and flow. I personally don't mind the two different fabrics and slight color differential between the top and bottom--I think it gives it more interest and dimension. I ordered a M, and am 32DD-30-42. The M fit perfectly on the bottom; I did have to get it taken up in the shoulders as it was too big on top (which I expected). I purchased this for a wedding, and now need to look for other reasons to wear it!

I have seen photos of this dress on multiple women and it looked stunning!! Unfortunately for me, the poplin fabric bottom half just didn’t work - too poofy and the look limits it to more of a strictly summer dress. I wear the original tank maxis year round. The jersey top of this dress (and the midi length!) is such a win and I hope there is a version 2.0 that is all jersey. It would work across seasons, have beautiful drape, and I would buy it in every color!

First off, the color is incredible. I've been a Brass fan since like 2016 with the OG pontes am so glad Brass is doing some more color (although the geometric prints aren't my fave). This had nice coverage around the side chest area, but wasn't mumsy. I could have worn it and been happy, it just wasn't total love. I like the waist sash to give the dress a bit of shape, and the pockets were excellent. My issue, I guess, is mixing a woven and a knit. The jersey up top and the poplin skirt... I see what the goal was, but it made the garment feel disconnected, and I am sure the skirt color would have faded in the wash before the top. If this had been an updated OG maxi dress (shorter length was great, better fitting torso was great), in all jersey fabric, I'd have kept it. Instead it went back, and I am excited to see if there is another version in straight jersey next summer.

This is a beautiful dress, but this iteration is not quite for me. An improvement over previous versions is the extra stretchy top that is easy to get on and off. The piece I prefer less than previous versions is the different fabric on the skirt, which has a bit of a color difference (at least in the pink version). It also didn't drape as nicely compared to the older all jersey version, and would require more steaming to stay wrinkle free. I'm hopeful for another full jersey version in the future!

This dress is perfect. I love the knit top and woven skirt. Very “belly friendly” for those days when you’re feeling a little bloated.
